KUTD-able Pattern: Coffee Mug Wrap

Today, Calgary was dealing with the effects of being thoroughly dumped on by snow. Several inches fell, starting yesterday around lunchtime and just kept falling overnight. This morning meant a slippery commute to the train station and a messy, wet public transit ride into downtown and quite frankly, coffee was the saving grace on such a cold and icky morning.

What better pattern to work from on such a morning than one that produces a sweet little cozy to caress and snuggle my coffee with?  The Coffee Mug Wrap was created over at Danido Crafty and is a perfect knit project for under your desk. It’s small, takes very little yarn, and can be completed easily in one morning… or afternoon… or on your lunch hour… the possibilities are endless! In fact, this is such a quick knit that you most likely have time to make an extra wrap for a loved one. I love the versitility of this quick pattern, too — you can either make a Plain version or Squared Check version that has a nice little texture to it for variety.  Not to mention the buttons are a super cute touch, too.

Enjoy today’s pattern and stay warm… unless you’re one of the lucky ones in a location where it’s currently fabulous, which seems to be everywhere but Calgary today. lol *grumble*
